Theology-Islamic Nations; Civilization and History department began its educational activities in 1994, admitting students at undergraduate level. This department also admits students at MA level from October 2008. The establishment of “History of Iran in Islamic Period” course at MA level is considered as one of the developments of the department in 2013. Among the scientific activities of the department, compilation of 5 books in different subject areas, publication of 104 articles in foreign and regional journals and conferences, accomplishment of 3 foreign and regional research proposals, establishment and equipment of Islamic Nations’s Civilization and History’s workshop and also a professional library are worth to mention. Currently, this department comprises 5 assistant professors and 1 associate professor, 117 students in BA level and 46 students in MA level.
