THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ORGANIZATIONAL BELONGING AND CYNICISM (KERMANSHAH SOCIAL SECURITY ORGANIZATION AS A CASE STUDY)

Abstract


Many organizations suffer from a lack of motivation and organizational belonging and the negative effects of the lack of this sense is quite visible. Therefore, organizations must resolutely, close the gap between slogan and action,and create an atmosphere of and faith, trust, organizational belonging and organizational loyalty. The main objective of this study was to determine the relationship between the organizational belonging andorganizational cynicism in Social Security Organization of Kermanshah Province. This study is applied from the perspective of aim and it is descriptive-correlational from the point of method. The population of this research includes the staff of Social Security Organization of Kermanshah Province,which were 930 people at the study period. Of these, according to Krejcie and Morgan table and by random sampling method 274 persons were chosen as sample. For data-analysis,spss20 and Lisrel were used. The results showed that there is a significant inverse relationship between the organizational belonging and organizational cynicism in the population in -0.72level.In addition,there was inversely significant correlation between the three dimensions of organizational belonging including: tendency to be membership in the organization, conviction to the values and objectives of the organization and the desire to do more in the way of achieving organizational goals and organizational cynicism.
