Program Title: A seminar on Geological Studies in the North of Kerman, Kerman, Iran, and geological field studies on continental sediments in Maragheh, East Azerbaijan, Iran

Brief Report: At the beginning of the program, Professor Juraj Janocko gave a lecture on the results obtained from his studies conducted during previous years in the north of Kerman, Iran. This seminar was held in the Department of Geology at the University of Zanjan. He then embarked on a one-week field trip to Maragheh accompanied by two professors and a group of geology students of the University of Zanjan. Having oriented himself in Fossil Site of Maragheh, Maragheh, East Azerbaijan, Iran, Professor Juraj Janocko conducted some field geological studies during the mentioned period in the area. The results will be reported in the upcoming years.
