Abstract

Abstract—Base of philosophical thoughts in Iran refer to Zoroastrians edification where our materialistic world affected by supernatural world. The reflection of this process expresses the creation of almighty God and angel's world. Foundation of Zoroastrians ideology is based on conflict of goodness with evil that finally result, show the victory of Ahora Mazda's power on devil army. In later periods new concepts emerges by meaning of light and darkness which these two words has been commented as existence and essence. According to Islamic thoughts, the illumination based on two topics. This article is supposed to express explanation of philosophy on Iranian contemplation and influences on our architecture. By expand the subject into management of universe and illumination philosophy we get the permission to discuss about light and darkness. Base on mystic point of view the world is like a prison that confines the light particle came from supper natural world. By explanation of the battle between light and darkness we will develop the trend of transformation. In order to prepare a suitable intellectual background for subject it's necessary to have a look on illumination philosophy. Finally on the base of functionalism we consider light as structural element.
