The Evaluation of Population and Utilities Distribution in Urban Regions with Sustainable Development and Social Justice Approaches Using VIKOR AND TOPSIS Models (A case Study Zanjan City)
Abstract


Today one of the most important issues in urban planning is sustainable development in cities and major issues of sustainable development is equality and equity between generations and within generations. The optimal distribution of utilities in cities could be equality within a generation in the cities. With these interpretations, the optimal distribution of urban facilities and utilities should be directed in such a way that will benefit all social groups and social justice, and the space community. According to this approach in this paper to evaluate of population and utilities distribution, for population(entropy model) and utilities (VIKORTOPSIS models )has been applied and also correlation calculated(Spearman's model) between these two variables in Zanjan urban regions. It is noteworthy that one of the goals of this paper was compares the results of TOPSIS and VIKOR models in evaluating of utilities distribution in urban regions. The entropy coefficient results of population distribution is 0.9386 that which indicates proportional distribution of population in Zanjan urban regions but according to results from TOPSIS and VIKOR models shows that the distribution of utilities is inappropriate  in Zanjan urban regions. Also according to Spearman correlation coefficient (0.1098) was showed utilities distribution in Zanjan urban regions has not been distributed based on population distribution.
