Abstract

Growing urbanization and human populations tend to be important in the context of urban environmental quality of urban life has provided more than ever. The overall objective of this study was to assess quality of life in informal settlements case Study is a neighborhood Islamabad City of Zanjan. The research method is descriptive – analytical and survey. Methods of data gathering in the field using the format of the questionnaire , where 145 households were systematically selected . In order to assess both the objective and subjective quality of life consists of 4 main indicators ( socio - cultural - religious , physical , economic and physical ) and 23 components are used. Topsis and AHP model for the analysis of data used to assess quality of life in the neighborhood is Islamabad . Conclusions, but the difference is all the difference in the physical and economic indicators is impressive. First Quarter Results showed that Islamabad has been at a disadvantage in terms of quality of life, and this difference is significant physical and economic indicators. Second, a significant relationship exists between the indicators in the neighborhood. Third, the subjective views of the citizens residing in the neighborhood of Islamabad, social, cultural, economic, physical changes. So dire situation the quality of life of residents of informal settlements, urban planners and managers need to appeal to the neighborhoods.
