An Effective Technique of Simultaneous Fuel Consumption and Torque Error Reductions in Spark Ignition Engines
Abstract


In this paper, an improved PI classical controller type is designed to reduce produced emissions in spark ignition engines. To this end, by pushing engine in its safe operational condition, fewer fuel consumption with reasonable torque error are acquired. Afterwards, in order to enhance the presented controller efficiency, the parallel optimization of control parameters are obtained with genetic algorithm since the system inputs are coupled with each other. So that, the maximum achievable engine performance are gathered by presented approach. Eventually, simulation results illustrate effectiveness of proposed scheme in comparison with provided baseline controller method.
