Estimate the time of dusty day downfall phenomenon using the correlation of PM10 and sunphotometer data

Abstract


Abstract Nowadays, urban air pollution on human communities has become a social problem and therefore various tools have been used to measure pollutants. Such as these tools are the system in situ aerosol measurement and remote sensing instruments the ground-based. This paper grants the estimation of the dust duration in Zanjan for few dust days using data achieved from aerosols sampling ground-based and sunphotometer instruments. [what] Particulate matter less than 10 micrometer (PM10) has been achieved by using ground-based instrument at a height of 3 meters upper than ground while aerosols optical depth (AOD) which is reagent of aerosols amount in atmosphere orthogonal column has been achieved by sunphotometer instrument. According to correlation coefficient diagram PM10 and AOD in 2010 9th, 10th, 24th, 25th June ordered by back amount in 2,6,3,3 hours age has been seen and this means that in following days 2,6,3,3 hours has longed to downfall dust to earth.  Keywords:downfall; dust; sunphotometer; correlation
