Department of Soil Science began its educational activities in 1999. In BSc program, this department presents the following courses:

1. Soil and Environment
2. Soil and Water
3. Soil and Agriculture
4. Soil and Gardening

After completing general, basic and specialized courses and taking electives from any of the above-mentioned courses (about 15 credits) students can graduate.

MSc education expanded by the admission of students in the fields of "Soil Genes and Classification" and "Soil Chemistry and Fertility" in 2002. Capabilities of this department led to the adoption of Soil Science PhD students from 2010.
